Adi presented her work on crowding and eccentricity at the annual Conference on Cognition Research (ISCoP 2020) in Akko, Israel

Congratulations to Adi Shechter for receiving the Yuval Ne’eman’s award
Adi Shechter has been awarded the Yuval Ne’eman scholarship by the Israeli Ministry of Science & Technology for her Ph.D. thesis. This 3-year scholarship has been given to Adi for her study “Effort and effortlessness in the development of word recognition fluency: An experimental investigation using pupillometry”, under the supervision of Prof. David Share.
Postdoctoral and PhD Positions Available at Our Lab
Full-time postdoctoral and PhD positions are available in the Visual Cognition Lab of Dr. Amit Yashar at the University of Haifa. The postdoc position will be an initial appointment for one year with the option to renew annually for 3-4 years.
The positions involve conducting research on visual perception, attention and perceptual learning using behavioral psychophysical and computational methods. Applicants must hold a degree in a related field such as psychology, computer science, neuroscience, or vision science. Strong communication skills and a record of research productivity are necessary. The expected start date is spring or fall 2020.
